Pratical informationThe summer school will take place in the campus of Jussieu (Sorbonne Université, Paris) from July 3 to July 7, 2023. How to get there? Metro line 7 or 10 (Jussieu metro station). The RER B connects both airports (Orly and Charles de Gaulle) to Saint-Michel, which is at walking distance from Jussieu. If you are taking the RER (lines B or C), you can also change in Saint-Michel and take the metro line 10 to Jussieu. Lecture hall: The summer school will take place in the Amphithéâtre Durand of the Espace Esclangon. When you enter the campus by the main entrance (near the metro station), just follow the signs! The campus is right in the center of Paris, in the Latin Quarter (5th arrondissement), at walking distance from great attractions such as Notre-Dame, the Panthéon or the Louvre Museum. Financial support: We can provide accommodation for a limited number of participants. If you need accomodation, please us note when registering (tick the box ``accomodation''). Travel expanses cannot be covered. Accommodation: Supported participants will be hosted at the Villa Louis Pasteur in Port-Royal and at the Residhome Rosa Parks. Poster session: A poster session will be organized during the summer school. Participants willing to present a poster are encouraged to submit their poster to: tlefeuvre [at] imj-prg.fr. What to do on a lazy afternoon? Visit the Latin Quarter, the Panthéon, the Jardin du Luxembourg. Take a walk on the banks of the Seine. |
